donors' questions ~

  • Is my donation tax deductible?

No. Your donation is not tax deductible. Periwinkle Prints creates and provides digital art free of charge, but is not a 501(c)(3).  However, any donations that Periwinkle Prints receives 50% will be donated to a 501(c)(3) non-profit. 

  • What will happen to my donation?

Your donation toward the creation of digital art by Periwinkle Prints will be accepted and processed via Stripe Financial services company. Periwinkle Prints will then donate 50% of each dollar to the New England Wildlife Centers in Barnstable and Weymouth, Massachusetts.

  • How will Periwinkle Prints keep my information safe?

Periwinkle Prints uses the secure Stripe Financial Services as the payment processor for all donations. This payment processor offers:

PCI-compliance:  Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance means that the tool aligns with industry standards for data protection and security.

Data encryption:  This makes sensitive information undecipherable by cybercriminals.

Fraud detection:  These tools screen for potential fraud and flag suspicious activities.

  • Will Periwinkle Prints contact me after I make a donation?

Periwinkle Prints does not collect name or addresses or its donors. During the donation process Stripe Financial Services obtains donor the email address for purposes of sending a confirmation receipt with a "Thank you," Periwinkle Prints does not contact any donor after donation is made.
